A very successful event was sponsored and hosted by @SMBC open to both men and women across the industry on the topic of male allies. The evening commenced with Gareth Lambe, Head of Facebook Ireland, sharing his experiences of being a male ally and the lessons he has learned. From there Michael Weiss Head of Aircraft Trading at SMBC Aviation Capital led a discussion of the panel of industry experts; Declan Hartnett Head of Europe & Canada for GECAS, Jennifer Creevey CFO of DAE Capital, Mickael Melaye Managing Director of Airbus HIS, Andrea Dermody Head of Global Inclusion and Diversity EMEA at State Street and Vanessa Christophers of Fearless Futures; through the area of male allies to help us understand what men can do to help empower diversity & inclusion programmes within their organisations.
